Hi,
Lately I realise that Class D amplifiers are becoming very common here. I have a reasonable knowledge about class A, B, AB and C ampliers but little about class D, I would like to know, where can I find repairs guides, books, ebooks or any website that provides troubleshooting info on class D. Do anyone know of books on this topics, maybe let me know the names of the books. I need to focus on class D amplifier repairs for future. Please advice.
Thanks
Carlos

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a "standard class D architecture". My advice is to read up (and understand) switch-mode power supplies - a lot of the principles (and fault finding) is similar.Lately I realise that Class D amplifiers are becoming very common here. In my experience the mosfets and class d ic usually blow up.
The mosfets blowing due to a short often take out the class d ic with it.
