Hi, I need some help.
I bought one of these boards from ebay and want to replace the poor quality 100K on board volume potentiometer. I have attached the application notes for the TPA 3123 chip.
There is too much gain from the board when fed by a 2 V dac output.
The amp board drives a 8R fullranger driver from Markaudio--12P.
1)Can i replace the pot with a 250K stereo pot to get more useful range?
2) What about adding a 100K resistor in series with the input pin of the 100K pot that i already have ?
3)How to adjust the gain setting with the gain 0 and gain 1 pins of the TPA 3123? what value resistor to use and where to place these resistors?
thanks

Changing the pot value (within limits) wont make any difference.
Putting a resistor in front will attenuate the signal.
