After many years of hard work, Mark is retiring next year. Personally I would be happy if he did this for longer, but it's appropriate for me to thank him for all his efforts. I met him when he was very young, the son of my longtime friend and business partner Joe Sammut. Joe, Mark, Joe's wife Barbara, and her daughter Anastasia all trace back to ESS, then Threshold, and then Pass Labs.

I wish Mark a very long, happy, '80's european gvmnt employee- style' retirement that start at ~40yo, goes on forever, and never requires pushing carts at Walmart. 😉
I like that the business will end with him and on his own terms. I would hate to see the operation end up in the wrong hands.
