Removing Technics Anti-skate lock clip

Hi All,
Can someone tell me the correct way of removing these lock-clip attach on anti-skate button?
model : Technics SL-D2 turntable.

They are press-fitted. Try a knife between the clip and the plate.
Start on one side and keep moving around carefully making force up near the shaft.
