I think I once saw a blob of the grey stuff on A J v/dH's workbench as well. Just think about it. If the inventor had some foresight, he might have negotiated for a royalty per squeeze/pinch/roll/twist/hold/

You can even use the stuff to hold small items you'd like to take a picture of
