Hi, hope you guys can help me identify what is causing this very annoying issue.
I own T3S amp from Hifimediy based on TK2050 powered by SMPS300R.
The problem I have is that its relays sometimes do not want to kick in the first time and I just hear this rasping sound only. This is when I use the main switch before SMPS.
What I completely do not understand is that when I use the switch on the amp board the relays simply do not switch at all.
I would like to use the switch on the amplifier's board to avoid a huge thump when powering off the SMPS.
I'm not sure how to make the relays work and why powering on with the main switch works (though 90% of times) and the switch on the amp board does not.
Changes I have made to the original amplifier:
- swap the coils for Wurth 4.7uH (original coils were 11uH)
- change capacitors C40 and C41 after the coils from 0.68uF to 1uF
