Hy i can get for free some commercial projectors without the lamp....
it is epson emp730*2
in focus in32
infocus lp540
infocus lp 530
I was readin some posts about relamping on forums and all of the projectors are using uhp lamps
I tried to conect the metal halide lamp 150W on one of them and it works....
I have seen on forums that people break glass on metal halide lamp and fit it in projector bulb but i have some concerns about it...
Can I put the metal halide on original balast??? couse when i try to do that the projecto registres lamp ok and works....
Is maybe beter to swich of balast and then use some standard halogen lamp 220v???
And if the metal halide can work like that on original balast is ther any danger by the UV radiatio cous outher glass is uv filter on metal halide lamps is that glass on front of the original bulb uv filter too???
