Does anyone know of a replacement driver I can use for my damaged driver in a REL Q-Bass. The original is a 12" 'Westra' model which is also the same as in a REL Q-100, but my web searches show that Westra were taken over by another German company called HKM (HandelsKontorMeindl). I would like to avoid paying a lot of money to REL to be supplied with a third-party driver I could have bought separately myself!
Tell us more about your box.
Diameter of the driver, sealed box, ported box, passive radiator box?
Something specific to know about the amplifier?
And the most important thing, what's the internal net size of the box?

If it's the same 12 inch driver as the old Q100 you can get it from www.bkelec.com for about £30.
EDIT: you might have to contact them, I can't find the drive units on their website any more.

Simon5 & richi00boy,
The driver is a 12inch unit in a sealed box about 14 x 14 x 15 inches internally. Taking a bit away (say 4 x 4 x 15) for internal electronics leaves about 2600 cu. inches, or about 1.5 cu ft.
I'll have a go at contacting bkelec and see what they can do. Thanks guys.

I guess from your measurements that you could replace that driver with something from Peerless. It's available in UK so it's good for you. Probably way better than the original driver since richie00boy said it's worth 30 £.
