I've recently replaced some local power bypasses Caps (original 2 X 100uf, new 2 X 1000uf) for each rail near the output stage (OPA2604). The difference was huge, maybe it's because there is only one +-15V rail which drives everything in the cd-player?
I have planed to make a new output stage where I will make a +- regulator based on LM317 and LM337 for each IC (OPA637 and BUF634) and was wondering if a local power bypass should be before or after the regulator? (I know that the regulator should be as close as possible to what it's feeding)
