Hello
Class-D amplifiers normally drive the 8Ω speakers. So they are normally Power Amplifiers in many applications.
Can we use them as a preamplifier to amplify the signal to line level?
If I have to drive the Output of Class-D to Class-AB (LM4780) Power amplifier,Is it possible to drive like that?
If not possible what is the alternate solution?

It's possible, just pointless. The benefit of a class D is high efficiency - this isn't an issue with a preamp so hence why all preamps are linear.
All amps would be classA if not for its massive inefficiency. For a preamp driving a very light load, the inefficiency isn't an issue. Hence preamps can be classA without significant penalty. Why would we need them to be classD?
You can use an LM4780 in a preamp if you like, it'll probably run pure classA. It might have too much gain though.
