Hi,
My Question relates to Peak coaxial 10CX50 drivers,
aka Coral 10CX501.
I have two in good condition, and I want to replace the discrete components with top class modern replacements.
Is there anyone who has done this?
What are the component values?
What brands should I consider?
Thanks
Doug

Doug,
Pop the cover off and let us know what is there and what values their are, It would be best to physically separate the XO from the driver's magnetic field.

Thanks Dave.
I'm usually of the opinion that the less ham-fisted intervention the better, so I was hoping so-one may have trodden the path before me. Nothing I have found on the web gives the component values. If I get no answers before the weekend, I will carefully do as you suggest.

Hi Doug, I've got a pair of these in a ported 95 liter enclosure.
Originally they were fitted with a 2 µF electro in series with a 15 Ohm wire wound resistor.
I have since pulled out the original tweeters and replaced them with a pair of Vifa OC25SC25-04. The highs are much better overall. I now use 4.7µF Mundorf M-Cap in series with a 18 ohm 2W metal film resistor.
Hope this helps.
