I have the Ushio S400DD bulb and im using a reflector but it is a big one.. kinda of.. The bulb is about 10" tall and the reflector is a stainless steal bowl 8" high and 3.5" deep aprox. I added a drawn pic to show what i mean. Is this reflector too big and the way i have it in the pic, is that ok or will the light be disbursted in all wrong directions? Or should i get a new, smaller reflector?

What is the shape of the reflector? If it's a spherical reflector then it is OK. Remember to put the lightsource directly in the center of the sphere.
