Both the Selenium D210Ti and D220Ti have a recommended X-over with 12 dB/octave of 2 k. With 24 dB/octave, it might get closer to 1k, if not played too loud.

Do you use this combo, which ones, and how do like it?

...not yet. Right now, I'm in the process of building an active 3way OB with an mtm consisting of PHL1240 midbasses around a Vifa D26NC55 tweeter. However, since it's modular in construction, I may try an OB 12" with waveguide sometime in the future, and what I linked to seems like an inexpensive way to test the waters.

In its current form, my test mule's weak link is definitely the tweeters, which is why I'm open to trying out a compression driver. ...but I'll probably try the BG neoplanar3's first, since I can get them to fit on my current baffles.

A friend was offloading some DDS 90 degree flares and Beyma CP380M compression drivers that are good down to c 1200 Hz, so I acquired them. Now to find more time . .
