The amplifier does not only see the impedance of the speaker directly, - except in the case of an extended-range speaker -, in any acoustic cabinet that is two-way or more, the impedance that the amplifier will see will be that of the frequency divider, more the speaker, plus the cables, - if they were long and very thin, in home systems their influence is insignificant - that is, the set of all these elements will form the final impedance.
