Redant 7" widescreen

Hi, Does anyone have an opinion on the redant 7" widescreen Lcd tv with the flipup screen.
I have an old S&K photographic enlarger I am going to try to use to make an Lcd projector.
It has a pair of big glass condenser lenses built in and an enlarging lens on a bellows for focusing.
It is a large format enlarger capable of taking a 7" panel in the negative carrier.
Jon.

The problem with small lcds is always resolution. For the consumer market anyway. It should be a decent enough lcd for vhs, vcd, tv, laserdisc, svcd but if you're looking at dvd sources or higher than it may not meet your requirement. Find out the res of the lcd and then work out how big you want your final image. Say you want a 200cm x 112.5cm image, and the lcd has a res of only 640x --, then one pixel will be 31.25x31.25mm . This would be satisfactory to some, but not to all. What you should do, is see if you can use a projector somewhere (school, work, etc.) and play something at the same res as your lcd, then see if its satisfactory to you or not.
