I am looking for people who would be interested in building a diy audio recording console. My background is 30 yrs electronic experience and ten yrs as engineering and product development. Also in a previous life, I recorded at Capitol Records in CA on their legendary neve console. I would like to bring the sound of this experience to the diy crowd. Im not interested in copying Neve circuitry - I thinj Mr. Neve is entitled to keep his designs - but I am interested in copying the PRINCIPLES he employed. If anyone is interested in this project, please post and I will create a blog to start the process. So I am clear I will post my design ideas for review and together well make the best damn equipment you could ever buy. If this sounds interesting to you please reply.
Regards,
Gary Ferguson

Welcome to diyAudio Gary.
That sounds an interesting project, perhaps one to start as a new thread in the "analogue line level forum".

hi all
thank you very much for your warm welcome and your encouragement. I have started a blog for my projects - Plymouth Audio | Home of DIY Working Class Audio please check it out and give me a hand. I'm new to blogging so it's pretty simple right now -but it will get better. I don't have a logo yet, but when I do I'll post it.
Thank you all again.
