The OP just asked for a filter book. I assumed it was just to understand filters. Maybe its one step at a time 🙂
@Dave_Zan I agree with you, the speaker design problem has a more complex set of issues. Including the filters interaction with a complex load like a driver.

Electronic Filter Design Handbook 4th edition by Arthur Williams/Fred Taylor. I found it to be an excellent book to get done what I needed to get done.
I would also recommend the "Quasi-Optimal filter" thread as a number of crossover topics are discussed in detail. It helped put some meaning behind some the topics that are covered in other books.
