JVDM,
One thing you may consider is that the Elsinore can play VERY loud, i've juste finished a Nomex 164 pair wich use the same speakers, i was really surprised by the efficiency of the combinaison 2x830875/810921.
I think I will build the Elsinore next year, i own already a kinf of half of one

The tw034XP is a very good tweeter IMHO i own it.

Efficiency/sensitivity is a definite plus for me, so that adds to the Elsinore's score in my deliberations. At the moment I'm using a chipamp, but I'm keen to move into SET territory eventually, when I move up a payscale or two
The Elsinore's also have a nearly flat impedance "or load" - making it a LOT easier on an amplifier.
This is the amp I'd recommend for it (..one that the designer prefers to his own SET designs):
Amplifier End by Andrea Ciuffoli
The DTQWT is also an excellent if different option (..linearity isn't as good, but the load is still easy and non-linear distortion is low.)
