Recommendations 300b SET amp

As soon as possible I would invite a few triodists and other music lovers to a shoot out to share our pleasure and our passion for music around a few cakes and various works. Greetings. Tony

I can't think of much that would be more enjoyable right now than a trip to Switzerland with a few cakes thrown in. Such a beautiful country - I love the lakes specially. My 300b amp is in a few different chassis and not the sort of thing you could carry around, but it sounds great and I'd love to add it to a shoot out! I wish.....

al2813, did you find a 300b set amp you were looking for?
I have a 300B poweramp I am ready to sell.
It is a “Glasshouse” 300BSEp kit amp developed and sold by hificollective.co.uk
I asked them to build the kit for me, so it is “Made in England” (in spring 2009). They still have the description on their page. Quite solid thing (25-26 kg, massive transformers, quite thick aluminium chassis, point to point wiring).
It was great with Lowthers, but I moved on to less efficcient loudspeakers (currently Gradient 1.5 Helsinki), I feel I need 100-200 W, so 300B amp has been disconnected for the last 3-4 years.
With “Glasshouse” I used as preamps a pair of “Promitheus” transformer volume controls (two boxes - separate left and right, alanced and se inputs and outputs, I can sell those, too (I moved to ML no 26 and Schiit Freya S, these seem slightly better in my current setup).
Finally, I could part with Lowther DX2 (15 Ohm) in home-made Fidelio horns (made of spruce, slightly battered by UPS).

Hi Rudolf, I did finally get a used (and not recent in light of the cost) Audio Note Meishu Line 300B. I paired it with (very used as well) Audio Note speakers and am very happy.

I would have loved though to listen to your amp if possible.
