A buddy of mine just gave me this thing to see if I could fix it for him. Does anyone know of a place to buy voice coils, spiders and parts like that from?
I've heard that the guys at fi car audio are really good about finding parts that fit. www.ficaraudio.com they may even have an off the shelf recone kit that would fit your particular sub. your sub has to be a cast frame driver though otherwise most people aren't wlling to help you out.
if fi wont help you , pierce audio products can more than likely build you a recone for the sub.....
are you going to be using the original basket or a 12 spoke?
the 12 spoke basket will fit that motor, ive had one before....just never got close to getting a recone for it..

Speaker Exchange is a decent Company. I worked their for 5 years. If you plan on using them to rebuild the speaker. Be specific as to what you are looking for in the rebuild. Many parts will fit and work,but may not be what your looking for. I can't remimber exactly the parts supplier off hand,when I do I'll give it to you. So that if your interested in doing it your self you can.
