Marantz TT-120 CT got a new wooden chassis, push button electronic start system, DIN microphone output connector, and some other small upgrades. No useless metal inside. Just the original bearing, motor and tonearm.
The first you can feel after this drastic upgrade is that turntable is not so sensitive to enviroment vibrations. May be because of solid wooden chassis. Its covered by glassfiber and spackel to form the design I wanted. I used two different type of wood - plywood and chipboard (I think it is so called in english). Foots are from old Philips CD player.
