Alright guys, i have 2 amps, a 2 channel bridged mono to power my subs, and a 4 channel to power my four speakers.

My head unit is a Alpine CDE-9845 and it says in the specs, 2 PRE-AMP OUTPUTS with Sub level control. It also says it has AUX INPUTS.

I have to run 3 RCAs i think, 2 for the 4 channel amp, because im using all 4 channels and 1 for the other amp. How do i do this, do i need to buy those Y connectors or what?

Also, if i dont that, what happens when i turn the subwoofer level control up, isnt it going to turn up the bass on my speakers, not only my subs?

Thanks alot guys. Hope to get some help.

You have only 2 pairs of outputs, so run 2 pairs of RCAs. One will feed the sub's amp, the other one will feed the 4 channel amp. To feed the 4 channel amp you will need to use 2 Y splitters, unless your amp can power 4 speakers with 1 stereo input.

The sub level control should only affect the sub, but check deck's user manual to verify that.

As for the AUX INPUT, you can use it to feed signal to the deck, not the amps. It can be used to connect a mp3 player to this deck.

michal is right, you should feed the 4 channel with Y Splitter RCA but be wary because CDE-9845's output voltage is very low (about 1.8 volt if im not mistaken).

but it's worth to take a look on your alpine's "back" and see how many RCA jacks with "Out" writings were there. because the 45 as far as i know (need confirmation here) have 2 fronts, 2 rears, and 1 subs (not differ from 47 only for it's cd changer capability).

if there's just 2 outputs, u don't have too affraid 🙂 because the subwoofer control just affects the rear channel 🙂 and because the rear channel only be used in the sub amps (ur 2 channel) so problems solved🙂
