is it possible to use my moms credit card? if i bid do i HAVE to pay even if i lose? i have more questions but i dont want to sound like a noob (im no n00b!)

haha, its okay to be a "n00b", but its not okay to use l33t talk.. Im a newbie.. but anway. There are many different ways to pay, but you have to have an ebay account to bid. Payment usually depends on the person auctioning. Check the auction for what methods of payment they accept. Paypal is the fastest,i think. But to use that you also need an account there. In your case it might be easiest to use check or money order, unless your mom does actually have a paypal account.

On the e-bay home page there is a 'help' section at the very top of the page.
Click on it and it brings up all the topics about how to use e-bay. Read one topic at a time. It will take a few minutes.
Once you have done this, you will be smart, not stupid.

You need a credit card to register on ebay, yes, which I believe is supposed to prevent people under the age of 18 becoming members.. tell that to someone who cares.. 🙂 lol

I am registered with EBAY, no credit card on file. I can bid to buy, but I can not sell, because you probably need to place a credit card on file to sell

That must have been before they reqired credit cards. I have two accounts. The first made in 2000 and did not need a card. The second, made in 2002 and needed a card. New anti A-Hole measures i guess.

You know, i currently run a bidding service for people with out ebay accounts... My fee is only 250% of the final value... Cheeper than radio shack... Im kidding by the way....
