I have an interesting failure of an RCF amp module where its making a squealing sound that's varying in duration, here's a video of it:
From a quick visual inspection the only thing I can see is the switch mode transformer looks slightly perished:
Just thought it would be worth an ask in case the hive mind has got any thoughts on a potential cause?

If you stumble across this, I actually managed to fix it. I read that RCF used a type of glue that turns conductive. The area surrounding the preamp had some glue that had gone through the PCB and bridged some resistors and capacitors, so I scraped and cleaned that off and bang, good as new!
