Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and new to the tube amp rabbit hole. I have been looking for my first tube amp project and I'm thinking about this one. My question for the extensive diyAudio knowledge base, is this worth rehabbing? I can pick it up for $80. Thanks for your help, Rob.
Looks like an SE EL84, with sizable OPTs. If you like the furniture yes, just for the amp probably wat too much.

I would be discarding the furniture and just using the amp & preamp. Would it be a decent amp after fixing it up or is it a clunker from the get go.
Approx. 5 WPC, so efficient speakers are a must. As was previously stated, it's not an especially good value.
The record changer is a PoS that destroys LPs. 😡 The cartridge is almost certainly piezoelectric.
The amp's tube complement rates to be 2X EL84/6BQ5s, a 12AX7 twin triode, and a 5Y3 vacuum rectifier.
