Yes, I shall put some more photos.
Those are some big Karlson tubes!
Yes. They are for Westrex 2390A units. I want to try some experimental way.
In original the 2390A units have Lenses. (And some type of horn existed too. Special yype of horn with lenses inside the horn.)
.
I want to try Karlson type horn because I have a pretty good results even with a cardboard karlsons, "randomly" cut shape, on the other units...
.
So for theese I made a calc and cut out more propper way. Should be longer, but thay are removable and I use this shorter as a start.
The central driver is in Acoustically Damped Enclosure. (by Hartley, later can be found in Philips papers)
.
I start from the U-frame OB enclosure. Listen and measure. This Hartley-Turner idea is really good. I simply have to try in praxis.
.
Later I added from the back Acoustical Resistance Unit. For optional use. Also removable.
Goodmans used this units.

RCAs are in 4 folded Voigt cabinets. Paralleled per channel. I use thaem like LF units. Because of their unique LF and bass performances.

some photos from the building phase. I will add more latter...

RCALC1 folded Voigt Cabinet build photos
I accomplish this work by using only 2 handy electric tools. From the lighter plywood. Poplar wood type. Because I already done one pair, same cabs for same drivers. And it was good with proper bracing off-course. Another reason is that i am not very young and i had to manipulate these not so little cabs on my own without anybody help. So it was need to be from lighter wood. I think that, speking of sound, for these power of 20-25Wmax is better?
.
I use cardboard stencils for drilling and handcutting.

Those are some big Karlson tubes!
next photos will be from center and HF unit with Karlsons.
I can say everything is like stated in papers. Impedance showing typical horn curve, dispersion is great, big angle almost 180deg, and maybe most important, no jet. You simply feels much less of directivity and jet effect on smaller distances. Somehow sound can blend or mix in shorter distance. I like it. And other folks too.
