Dear Sirs and Madams!
I am being confused of Eagle part RCA-4-117-01 (RCA Input Jack), here is schematic:
and pcb footprint:
Now, as you can see, part itself has 6 connectors, but I do not know how to wire it with audio input signals, i.e., does this part represents 4 input jacks, as here:http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/725000-749999/736910-da-01-ml-CINCH_ANSCHLUSSPLATTE__4_POLIG_de_en.pdf
or 2 input jacks? Has someone worked with this part and can send some images/pictures of it?
Sincerely,
M.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Corrected, I can see images now. When you edit your post and you are still in moderation, your post goes back into the moderation queue and must be reviewed again. Be patient, this will only happen a few more times.
Where is my original post?
It appears to have 4 RCA jacks in a square arrangement, each pair having a common ground.
So there are 6 terminals, 4 hot and 2 separate grounds.

Physical product jack that fits Eagle RCA 4-117-01 footprint?
Hello
I bought a PCB from someone with a 2x2 RCA jack layout silkscreened only as RCA 4-117-01.
I see that is an Eagle footprint in the Amphenol library.
I am having trouble identifying a six pin 2x2 RCA jack with the symmetrical dual three-hole pattern (without measuring I'd approximate it as forming an Isosceles triangle.
Amphenol doesn't seem to have a 2x2 part anymore (my results thus far).
Switchcraft 2x2 jacks are in more of an L-pattern.
CUI 2X2 jacks seem to be close but each group of three pins is asymmetrical - one leg of the triangle is longer.
If people still use that Eagle footprint I think there is a part that fits...or there was back in the day...whatever day that was.
This is becoming more work than it should be, but I am not to the point of lopping off the RCA plugs and soldering the wires to the board...but someone years ago actually suggested that as an improvement (maybe for speaker wires).
Any advice on connectors that fit would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Murray

I doubt a pair of separate vertical 2x1 will have different PCB footprint.
Might have to use 4 x single isolated chassis mount jacks.

Good thing I'm a hoarder...did I say that, or just type it out loud?
Found TWO 2x2 jacks from a Harman-Kardon/Heathkit preamp boards I got in the early 90's for parts. The triangular pattern for each side match, but the two sets are spaced differently. Hacksaw, sidecutters & a file & I have a fit.
