My buddy got this at an auction,,, it was modified for some purpose, but I'm not sure what... He started replacing caps, and couldn't get it working... I got it last week, and the PS was pretty well messed up, no B+ at all, for starters... Seems the rectifier cathode was connected to ground! I fixed that and found a bunch of other similar problems and finally got it somewhat working,,, got a signal thru it...
I have the schem from the case posted, and there are some hand written changes on the bottom of it which are also in the amp... He wants to bring it back to ribbon mic specs... It has the Daven control, and the proper Txs...
The schematic shows a conversion to crystal mic also,,, but there are no voltages printed on it tho...
Anyone work on one of these and have any moe info or voltage specs to share?
