Hi Guys

What do you think are best Raspberry pi 3 with either Hifiberry digi + pro or a high quality Usb to spdif interface??
Both with JRIVER and same external super regulator.
My dac is a high quality with ES9018 dac.

It's all about the jitter. They both have good reclocking, so should be minimal difference, imo. The power supply quality to the clock oscillators might be a factor. Some USB>SPDIF boards allow external high performance regulated supply.

SPDIF wants 75ohm line, so use BNC connectors and 75ohm cable to minimize new jitter after reclocking. Digi+ offers BNC option, but your DAC may need conversion to BNC. 😉

For those interested in the Allo DigiOne, a quick note Allo products are available domestically in the U.S. from Chicago Electronic Distributors. I discovered this after emailing Allo about the high cost of shipping on direct orders from them (in India.)
