Raspberry DAC with USB input?

Hi,
I wanted to know if it's possible to stream music to a raspberry DAC (protodac) using USB?
All example I find have roon or something similar... but as I want to use Apple Music, I would like to use the lightning to USB3 camera adapter to stream music.

A wild guess, but the Pi 4 USB OTG port may be able to support the incoming USB from your Apple device.

You can then use something like CamillaDSP (which I prefer over alsaloop) to record from the device and play through to your protodac.
