Raised theater seating

thinking about doing raised theater seating, my question with a 7.1 system would it be a good or bad idea to put subs in the frame work for the raised platforms? would it be annoying watching a movie and having all the seating viberating from the bass? or would it create a more realistic effect for the movie?

I used bass shakers in my theater for a while. It was enjoyable at first, but once the novelty wore off, it became a little distracting.
