a cone being above 1 is more a thing of really cheap woofers 🙂 planars have often a multitude of that. not that it matters to be fair 🙂 dont use them near resonance 🙂
Yes, above 1. I tried in vain to explain to the Radian engineer that wrote me back that it would be technically impossible to design a correct enclosure for such a driver. Unless one would have access to a negative volume generator, of course.
