The man was a genius. He filled out and added sophistication to the Beatles music. I look at him as the medium between putting the Beatles art to a more classical and professional presentation. i.e. He knew how to arrange and make them sound their best.

He was also a generous and gentle person. He was much loved on the island of Montserrat where he built Air Studios, and he raised a lot of money to provide relief for that island after the Soufriere volcano erupted and destroyed half of the island.
