Saddened to see another of my generations influential musicians has passed.
Duck Dunn, bassist for Booker T. and the MG's.
Session bassist for Stax records in Memphis. Played the foundations for so many hits of the late 60's and on....
Gained new found fame as an actor in the 80's when he played himself in the " Blues Brothers " movie.
With Donna Summers' passing, the media are sure to give Duck short shrift.
