I tried Sprague(polyprop), Panasonic (polyprop) 2.2 µF at the output (after a cathode follower) : I didn't find any diffrences.
I tried Wima (MKS2, polyester), Sprague (polyprop) 47nF, 100 NF, interstage with no diffrences.
My ears can find very little change in the RIAA network but not with capacitors I tried.
I am considering to try paper oil capacitors...

Have you tried the Cornell Dubilier? 🙂
Best,
Erik
I have not - i have not heard of them previously - but i like the fact they do capacitors for Radar Amplifiers!! 🙂

The current situation is:
Switched back to the Solen Cap - the original and the improvement is unquestionable.
BUT - i am going to persevere with the WIMA because there are elements of the sound that are better then the old solen caps. This was not the case when first installed......... Logic says IF every aspect improved by the same degree with more burn in then they would indeed outperform the solen by a long way.
The 0.47uf Soled were "piggybacked" with Russian military speck paper and copper foil in oil in glass tubes 0.1uf and 0.047uf (because i had been given them by a friend to try).
This 0.47 + 0.1 + 0.047 set up is the best (for best read most listenable to in my system) so far.
Certainly all thought of hi end Caps is out of the window thanks to the recent hospital trip and $10k bill LOL.
There are lots of caps about that are claiming to be Russian Military Spec because they have the OTK on them - this is just the "technical control" - it does not mean they were for use in a MIG25 or a Ground to Air Missile Guidance system. The reason I mention this is being broke I am going to see if I can obtain some of the true high speck Soviet Capacitors and have a play around with them. One thing i have learnt in 6 years in Bulgaria - what we were told about Soviet Manufacturing quality (based on a few Lada cars i think) is SO far from the truth.
