Hi guys,
I have a mixer, compressor, motu, & an adat all plugged into a power conditioner.
Is there any reason not to leave all of my components on and just turn the power conditioner on & off?
The part of my brain that's fears the unknown says I might short something out. But the part of my brain that likes math says a switch is a switch so turning the power conditioner on & off should be the same as turning the components on & off.
Thanks in advance for the advice!
Mike

I have a mixer, adat, light, cd player all on one switch. I keep my HR824's and power amps both on separate switches.
I turn on the amps last and turn them off first so I don't get pops in the speakers.

Sweet!
I got my monitors on a separate switch too so the speaker pop shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the confirmation guys! My setup just got a little more convenient.
