I was wondering if this was possible, it is possible to the digital and analogue outputs on the DEQ set so that they output different things?
I was hoping to have an EQ'ed and processed signal coming out of the analogue output while having an unprocessed flat signal coming out the digital output.
Is this possible or will I be wasting my time trying to achieve this?
Thanks

Forgive my ignorance..
But if you wanted that, why wouldn't you just bypass the DEQ2496 all together?

I am fairly sure that will not work. Does your CD player have a digital out?I was wondering if this was possible, it is possible to the digital and analogue outputs on the DEQ set so that they output different things?

Sorry I should have included more info in my first post. My setup is this
Sources -> DEQ2496 -> DCX2496 -> amps
Long story short, my DCX started it's infamous egg frying on one of the channels, so I've found that with a bit of rearrangement, I can use the DEQ's analogue out to feed my subwoofer amp.
I've found that after fiddling with my DEQ that I can feed an unprocessed signal to the digital out while feeding a filtered signal to the analogue outs, solving my problems until I get around to fixing the egg frying on my DCX.

It's not quite so simple, I'm using my DEQ as a source selector also as I have 2 digital sources and an analogue source and I'm using my DEQ to switch between them.Forgive my ignorance..

It does. I've sorted it out now.I am fairly sure that will not work. Does your CD player have a digital out?
