Greetings And Happy 2013 To All Hope Am Posting This Topic In The Right Place
Just Have A Quick Question I Want To Build A Amp From Scratch Am In The Process Of
Laying Out The Parts What I Will Like To Know Is If I Replace Picofarad Capacitors In The Circuit
With The Equivalent Nanofarad Value Capacitors Will It Cause A Problem For Example 1000PF = 1NF

To answer your question it doesn't matter what units you use as long as the cap is the correct value and the correct type (where and if it matters).

So ordering either a 0.01uf or a 10nF or a 10000pf cap will all be the same. In the same way that a 100K resistor is the same as a 100,000 ohm resistor is the same as a 0.1Meg ohm resistor.

I'm not too well up on what the current favourite low power amps low voltage amps are but you need to decide whether you want Class D or a conventional analogue chip type amp. If conventional then a bridge configuration will give more power from the low voltage. Class D should be more efficient (better battery life)
