No, you know, ccs as first word contains “constant”.
Why overcomplicate?
Try to keep as simple as possible.

Best OPS recipe is EF-Triple, biased at Barney Oliver point at every stage, finest semi’s like 1x3503/1381 + 2x4793/1837 + 4x4302/4281.
Best IPS recipe is something low-noise, common-mode resistant and having like >80 dB depth loop at 20 kHz.

Yes, and the fets have pretty much zero volt drop across them in practice. A standard optocoupler wouldn't be a good or as consistent... it is an area of the circuit to look at though.

The downside is that the appropriate resistors would have to be selected on test (to get the desired currents) or made preset types. For a one off build that would be no problem though and there would be no reason to suspect the values would alter over time given the regulated supply feeding the drivers.
