Questions about using two regulators in the power supply

Hello!
I have seen some consumer units has two tegulators in the power supply such as Conrad Johnson. Whether a regulator with low output impedance feeding another regulator will end up a much lower impedance to avoid modulation??

Here is an example of one regulator used by Counterpoint, for an MC headamp.

it uses a pre-regulator using a zener follower stabilizer, followed by a feedback design, and a third buffer stage. a nice setup.
