question regarding "golden ratio"

the behavior of the golden box is the same regardless of mounting position. the golden ratio refers to the dimentions of the box.......and the lack of similar wavelenghts among them. a cube would be the mirror (all same wavelengths).......and just like the golden box, the cube would behave just as poorly regardless of mounting position. its about the box, not the driver in the box.
 
This primarily concerns standing waves within the box. The larger 'front' will impact the sound as far as baffle step diffraction is concerned. Naturally, this requires attention either way. I think you should go ahead.
