Is it possible to interchange the width and depth dimensions and still maintain almost identical acoustical properties? So basically I want to mount the driver on what would be the side.
the behavior of the golden box is the same regardless of mounting position. the golden ratio refers to the dimentions of the box.......and the lack of similar wavelenghts among them. a cube would be the mirror (all same wavelengths).......and just like the golden box, the cube would behave just as poorly regardless of mounting position. its about the box, not the driver in the box.

it's looks like ratio of sides with K=1.61803398875
it's ok, but for appearance only, aesthetics and have not difference for acoustic sense
