Music is mathematics,
Agreed, but furthermore I think music has many similiarities with human languages. You can distinguish musicians by their "sound" or musical attitude, or by the treasure of licks available during improvisations that reminds me of the treasure of variety of expressions of spoken words.
So I assume you will find that a majority of good musicians have some language talent as well.
Right, Osvaldo. This is called equal temperament, dividing an octave into twelf semi tones with the same interval to the next one and allowing to play any key with negligible differences to the natural harmonics.

Talking about music and musicians, why there was "bandoneons" that was tuned in La 432 and others in La 440 (Hz)? Again, sorry if my question is very stupid, but as I said, I don't know anything about notes, pentagrams, etc.
Yes, I've also been stumbling on a question of similar nature, as my girlfriend's piano has got it's tuning at 442 Hz. I really don't know why...

Equal temperament scale is a useful "fudge", and of course Bach showed how powerful a tool it is it, primarily though it is a western European invention
