I currently have an OHP projection panel and also a samsung syncmaster 13.3" LCD monitor. When i look through the projection panel with a lamp behind it, i can see the lamp clearly without it bluring to much. Then when i look through the LCD monitor screen with a lamp behind it, the lamp seems to look more blury and def not as bright.
Is it normal to not be able to clearly see through an LCD screen?
It does look like the LCD monitor panel has a stuck on layer on one side which i think may be to help difuse the light more since it was origionally going to be used at a monitor.
Should i try and take this off?
i did try projecting with the panel with my bodge setup and the image on the wall seems to look ok, doesnt look blury or anythin, but i wonder if it could be even clearer and brighter?
hope someone has an answer 😉

No
do not try to remove the coating that is adhered to the LCD, it is an allmost SURE way to destroy your LCD.

lol, yeah thats what i thought... still worth asking though!
do you do most LCD monitor panels have this layer is plastic on them, because the LCD projection panel i have just seems to look much clearer when you look through it.
