question about amp settings

As I mentioned in your other thread, I think you would get better luck in the car audio section. That being said, in my truck I have my subs crossed at 90, but I have fairly deep mids. The point you want to cross your subs at greatly depends on the range of your other speakers--if you have 5.25's that don't have that strong of a low end, you may want to cross a little higher.
 
I prefer just crossing at 80hz. Any where else you compromise the two channel differentiation unless you go below 80hz. After 80hz and higher you can hear the difference between right and left, under that it is the same sound to your ears
