I have a couple of very nice Quad II amps with the pre-amp and tuner but one of the amps has the bottom plate missing. Does anyone know where I can find one? Any leads would be appreciated. If I can find the bottom, they will be in very nice original condition.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes it is just a piece of flat metal and would be easy to fabricate but it would be nice to find one off another Quad amp that is only good for parts.

Yes it is just a piece of flat metal and it would be easy to fabricate but it would be nice to find one that is original off a junker. I'm wondering if the base from a new Quad II would fit. The new ones look very similar to the old ones.
