Hi
I have a pair of mid s/n (14000s) ESL 63s in need of an overhaul.
Reading the ESL 63 service notes, Quad recommend the use of a specific design of tone burst generator and give an example schematic (Fig 3, page 8).
Before I go away and build this, which will take a couple of hours at least, has anyone got one or knows where I can get one or even if someone has done PCBs for a TBG?
Thanks!
Ps. I am a professional EE with the correct equipment and knowledge, used to working with (very) HV and have a high degree of personal caution/self preservation! Having said that, I've never worked on electrostatic speakers before.

Thanks! I didn't have that yet.Hi Jan,
See service manual attached. Fig 3, page 8.
As @EdGr says, no need to build hardware.

Audiojumble in Kent, UK.
I was selling all sorts of stuff. MJ was there as we're others from Audio-Talk. He was in good form!
