Quad 405 - Bridge Mod

I have built an external plugin unit that does the same as in diagrams 1 - 3 but can also be switched to bypass the resistors and uncouple the outputs enabeling the unit to be used to simply split the input for bi-amping or couple the outputs for mono operation. I shall post photos when I get home tonight

I am looking at bridging a Quad 405.

Differential stage to the inputs of two amplifiers. A TL072 will do nicely. I see no reason why it won't work, as long as you use a 16R load otherwise the fuses will keep blowing with 100Volts of available drive!
