QUAD 33 Balance Problem

Ok, took a step back and had a fresh look at the manual and what tests I've done. I forgot that balance reduction L & R is only -45dB, should have twigged that with the 100 Ohm on either side. Mooly, took you advice from earlier and bridged pin one on both L & R amplifiers, M12017, (creating a mono signal into each. With C5 & C6 replaced, the balance circuit works as it should. I need to clean it to get rid of the crackles on it, but that's easily done.

The important piece, I was not taking into account there is only the -45dB attenuation, assuming it should have been full was the mistake.

Now that the balance issue is sorted out, I need to go after the reduced volume and dullness on the Left Channel. It's not the L & R amplifiers as they preform the same in mono mode. As I'm using Radio 1 as my input, I'm not using the the M12019 preamp for the Disc input, but am using the tape adapter module, M12027

I will investigate the adjustments that can be made on that module.
