I am working in an old QUAD 303 ... rectification diode are # 1S421 and this is a very old number .. could be 12 amps .... according to NTE ....
If I use a diode bridge rectifier .. do you think a 6 amp bridge will do the job .... power transformer of these unit is about 250 VA according to the weight & size ... ??
Should I go for 10 amp bridge ??

The original 1S421s are 10A, so I'd go with at least that.
